Another week has rolled around and it’s time for me to share a few treasures.
It was a good week of picking.
A lot of people probably overlooked this old painted wooden paddle. My first thought was that it was similar to a French bread board. After further though I came up with another idea which I will share with you in a few days.
The artist signed and dated the back of the board.
This little blue and white transferware creamer was a find at the Treasure Hunt Antique Mall last Saturday. We could man our booth and have a one day sale. So I participated in the sale. I took some time off from my booth and did a bit of shopping myself.
I found this creamer and the painted wooden paddle above both at excellent prices with an extra 30% off.
It was love at first sight when this little beauty came into view at the thrift store. I couldn’t get it in my cart quick enough.
A few more bobbins can’t hurt. So into the cart they went too.
Then I couldn’t believe my luck when I found three of these aluminum colanders in one day.
Love the “Savings You Can Measure” slogan on this great local yardstick which I am adding to my collection.
I’ve already sold two baskets like this vintage style Easter basket in my booth. So I scooped up this one for next Easter.
There were two of these embellished wooden cutting boards being sold together. So I had to have them – one to keep and one to take to the booth. Score! They are natural color wood but I think they would look better stained. What do you think?
Interestingly, the boards are Polish in origin.
I’m glad you stopped by today. If you don’t already subscribe to my blog be sure to sign up by e-mail on the side bar or Hello bar at the top, that way you will never miss a post. I would love for you to follow me on Pinterest here and Facebook here. Thanks for visiting and come back soon!
